A Soul Happy in the Lord

A Soul Happy in the Lord-Muscadine Press

"The first great and primary business to which I ought to attend every day was to have my soul happy in the Lord."

—George Müller
Amen and amen. 🙌 It's more important than anything else you do each day. More important than pouring your first cup of coffee, packing lunches, or taking a shower. More important than checking social media, reading the day's headlines, or responding to that email.

Don't miss it, sweet friend.

Do the thing that makes your soul happy in the Lord each and every day. Belt out some praise. Soak in the Word. Devote yourself to prayer. And then go on with your day, carrying that happiness with you everywhere you go.

The promise of the gospel is not that I would never face trouble or hardship in this life, but that when those troubles come my way, I do not face them alone.
