Six Years Later

Six Years Later-Muscadine Press

In 2015, I ordered 600 Dwell Prayer Journals.

It took three whole years to sell them all, but in 2019, I ordered 500 more.

Most of those sold in just a year, and in January 2020, I ordered 1,000 journals. It seemed like an impossibly large number at the time, but I felt like dreaming big, so I went for it.

And then I reordered not once. Not twice. But three times throughout the year. We shipped out over 2,500 prayer journals last year, and I'm still in awe. At the end of the year, our shelves were empty. Literally.

So for our first 2021 release, I ordered 2,400 prayer journals. šŸ™„ They came on a pallet, which seemed very, very daunting, but I'm already thinking that like last year, we'll end up having to reorder sooner rather than later.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind around it.

I just want to stop for a minute to celebrate all that God has done and give credit where itā€™s due. There's no other explanation for the kind of growth that we've been experiencing since the pandemic began. It's all him - I'm just trying to keep up.

At the end of the day, no matter how many journals we sell, I'm so, so grateful that I get to do this work. It's a joy and privilege that I don't take for granted. Helping people cultivate faithful habits makes my heart happier than you could ever imagine.

Thank you for your support and orders and kind messages and shared posts and encouragement, and also for bearing with me on this trip down memory lane. I couldn't do this work without you - and I'm not just saying that! You're the best.

The promise of the gospel is not that I would never face trouble or hardship in this life, but thatĀ whenĀ those troubles come my way, I do not face them alone.
