Grateful for YOU!

Grateful for YOU!

In case you didn't know it, this is a busy time of year for small businesses like Muscadine Press. I wrapped up our last holiday market of the season on Saturday, and just a few days later launched our annual Big Sale online. I must be at least a little crazy.

I want you to know that when I count my blessings, I count you! I'm beyond grateful for the chance to serve you and remind you of truth and help you give good gifts to your people. It's an incredible privilege to create meaningful, light-filled resources that both encourage and delight, and I don't take it for granted.

This year has been a difficult one for many small businesses, including mine. I've watched more than a few of our retail partners close their doors in recent days. Groceries are expensive. The economy is weird. Numbers are down, and I've had to make some strategic changes in the way that we do things.

But numbers aren't everything, and they don't tell the whole story. Of course I'm thankful for every sale that comes through, but I'm also ridiculously grateful for the opportunity to encourage everyone who downloads a freebie and never makes a single purchase. Muscadine Press exists to encourage the people of God to cultivate faithfulness, remember truth, and do good. Every single time I get to do that, I'm thankful.

So thank you for being here and allowing me to come alongside you in your desire to cultivate a faithful life. In the words of Paul, “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” (Philippians 1:3-5)

Until next time, grace and peace.
