On Giving Gifts that are Good

On Giving Gifts that are Good
One sweet lady who stopped by our booth at Christmas Village last week spent several minutes reading each and every verse on our scripture static clings. After a while, she came up to the counter with her selection.

With tears in her eyes, she told me that she chose Joshua 1:9 for her daughter, who received word of yet another failed IVF treatment that very morning. She hoped that seeing the words on her mirror would remind her that God is always near, and when we are at our weakest, we find our strength in him.

Another customer chose Dwell Journals and Bible verse bookmarks to encourage a group of young women recovering from addiction. Yet another snagged a kid's Bible study bundle to celebrate her son's upcoming baptism.

My heart was bursting, y'all. What a joy it is to help you give gifts that are good to the people that you love! It's incredibly encouraging to see you choose gifts that comfort, uplift, and point to truth. It never gets old, and it thrills my heart every. single. time.

As we come up on the gift-givingest season of all in a year that's full of uncertainty, I want to make it as easy as possible for you to give gifts that are good to the people you love the most.

So stay tuned for updates! We've got lots in store (literally) for the days ahead. Our annual Big Sale starts Nov. 22, but if you want to get a head start on your holiday shopping, head on over to the shop and use the code EARLYBIRD through Nov. 15 to save 20 percent on your entire order.*

I hope and pray that we can make it a little easier for you to give good gifts to your people this year! We're grateful for you and praying for you today.

The promise of the gospel is not that I would never face trouble or hardship in this life, but that when those troubles come my way, I do not face them alone.
