On Taking a Summer Sabbatical

On Taking a Summer Sabbatical

When I last wrote on here, I didn't expect it to be so long until I wrote again, but alas, here we are, mid-August, and I'm just now popping back in for a quick chat.

Since we released a mini-collection of new products over the summer , it hasn't been total radio silence, but for the most part, it's been largely quiet.

If I'm being honest, this happens every year. I start out the summer with good intentions of keeping up with e-mails and social media, but August rolls around, and I realize that I've done it yet again. So, if it's OK with you, I'm just going to go ahead and PLAN to take the summer off next year, then none of us will be surprised by my disappearance.

Our summer was full (in all the best ways). I sat out from wholesale tradeshows and freed up space on the calendar to chaperone youth camp, take a quick trip to Asheville with Dennis, teach 3rd graders at VBS, and cart the girls around to one summer camp after another.

Now that school is back in session, I'm settling into a quiet workday routine and making plans for the rest of the year. I'll be back soon with shop news, gospel encouragement, and free resources to help you cultivate your faith, but for now, I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I've missed you. Talk soon.
