Summer Days Are Here Again!

Can you believe that it's summer already? Every year, I'm amazed both by how quickly these days arrive and also how quickly they disappear. Our girls have officially been out of school for two weeks now. We've filled the days with appointments, trips to the library, shopping excursions, and long, slow hours at home. Soon, a string of camps will begin, but for now, I'm enjoying this slower-paced routine.

This summer is hitting a little different than most in my recent past. For the first time since 2018, I won't be taking Muscadine Press to any wholesale tradeshows or markets. A combination of factors led to this choice, but I'm both relieved by and apprehensive of the change in schedule. That said, we've got new products in the works that will launch in just a few short weeks (have you seen this sneak peek on instagram??), and I, for one, can't wait to get them out into the world. 

In these summer days that look a little different than I expected, I'm reminding myself that the same God who ordered the universe also brings order to my days. He's not caught off guard or surprised by anything that comes my way, and he is with me both in the unexpected and also in the highly anticipated. Maybe you need that reminder, too.
